Preakness Race

Congratulations to Bernardini for winning the Preakness today. And once the winning horse was a #8. Is this a sign of who will tonight at the All Star Race? When the #8 horse (Barbaro) won the Kentucky Derby, another #8 won a race at Richmond.

Unfortunately there will be no Triple Crown winner. Shortly after starting the race, Barbaro pulled up. Barbaro suffered a break above and below his ankle. My heart goes out to Barbaro, his jockey, and trainer. Get well Barbaro!
